
As Vice President of Advanced Battery Systems Engineering, William leads a global team of engineers in designing advanced battery systems at Inventus Power. Since joining the company in 2012, he has held various roles in product engineering and management, supporting a wide range of markets and applications that rely on batteries of all sizes. William plays a key role in shaping the architecture, product definition, growth strategy, and development of the company’s next-generation product portfolio.
With over 19 years of experience in battery development, automotive battery management systems, power distribution, and safety systems, William is a recognized innovator in the field. He holds more than 11 design patents at Inventus Power. Before rejoining the company in 2018, he spent three years at Gotion, where he focused on developing battery management systems for the automotive industry.
William holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
