President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and CEO, Pat Trippel is responsible for strategically leading the global enterprise to ensure Inventus Power is constantly innovating power systems and is at the forefront of thought leadership for their OEM and contract manufacturer customers across the consumer, commercial/industrial, medical and military & government markets.
Mr. Trippel has a distinguished career that spans over 30 years in the electronics manufacturing industry. Most recently, he was with H.B. Fuller Company as Senior Vice President Market Development. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s Durable Assembly Business which included the Electronics and Engineering Adhesive businesses. Prior, Mr. Trippel was with Henkel Corporation as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Global General Industries business and also served as the President and General Manager of Henkel’s Global Electronic Materials business.
He began his career with Universal Instruments Corporation in sales and was subsequently successful in numerous roles, including sales engineering, regional sales manager and Latin American operations manager. Mr. Trippel then joined Siemens AG where he held multiple leadership positions including Vice President and General Manager of their electronic assembly equipment business and president and CEO of the Siemens Dematic Electronic Assembly Systems.
Mr. Trippel earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and has completed executive development programs at Harvard University, Duke University, University of Chicago, IMD in Switzerland and IESE in Spain.
Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President, Americas Operations
As Chief Financial Officer & EVP, Jim Jackson brings over 20 years of experience driving strategic, operational and financial growth in complex manufacturing organizations. He is responsible for the leadership and management of the global Finance and IT organizations as well as the operations within the U.S., Brazil and Mexico. He plays a key role in the growth and strategy of the company.
Prior to joining Inventus, Jim served as the CFO of Plymouth Tube, a specialty manufacturer of precision steel tubing and extrusions that operates multiple manufacturing facilities throughout the U.S. In addition, for over ten years, he held several senior leadership roles in both operations and finance at Plexus, a global electronics contract manufacturer. Under Jim’s leadership, he helped both organizations drive meaningful profitability growth. Earlier in his career, Jim worked for Motorola which included an expat assignment in Tianjin, China.
Jim holds an MBA from DePaul University with a concentration in Operations Management and a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University.
Chief Human Resources Officer
In her role as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Nuo Ma leads all global HR teams in the development and execution of HR strategies that allow Inventus Power to attract, develop and retain the best talents worldwide while building a high-performance culture of engagement, agility and innovation to support the company’s vision, mission and long-term growth strategy. In addition, Nuo is responsible for ensuring that corporate-level policy documents and procedures are successfully developed, communicated, implemented and maintained.
She brings over 22 years of business and senior HR leadership experience to Inventus Power from Henkel Corporation, a multinational Fortune 500 chemical and consumer goods company. During her tenure at Henkel, she designed and implemented a systematic and comprehensive talent management process; elevated the leadership team through organizational re-design, effectively led M&A activities, and promoted improvement processes and enhancements that strengthened the organization’s culture, effectiveness and winning capabilities. Nuo Ma holds an MBA degree from Tianjin University in China, and an EMBA from Washington University – Fudan University.
Executive Vice President and General Manager, Global Sales & Business Development
As EVP and GM of Global Sales and Business Development, Michael Stuart leads the development and execution of global sales and business development strategies for Inventus Power. Michael joined Inventus Power in 2010 and has held various leadership positions within the company during his tenure. He has also played key roles in the successful integration and transformation of the organization during the company’s various mergers & acquisitions. Michael is passionate about building strategic customer relationships and providing exceptional service to all of Inventus Power’s customers. He drives customer focus throughout the organization and strives to continuously improve customer satisfaction. Prior to joining Inventus Power, Michael spent over 12 years in various sales & business development capacities at companies such as GKN PLC and Arrow Gear Company. He holds a B.B.A. in Management as well as an M.B.A. specializing in Entrepreneurship & Managing Innovation from Benedictine University.
T.K. WONG (KW)
Executive Vice President, Asia Operations & Technical Center Asia
As EVP of Asia Operations & the Technical Center in Asia, KW leads the operations & management of our Asia facilities as well as the engineering team in Guangzhou. KW oversees new product development, testing, prototyping, sustaining engineering and regulatory compliance. He has over 29 years of technology and leadership experience with Inventus Power. KW was instrumental in establishing the first SMT line and Auto Insertion Line at the Qingxi, China facility, he founded the Asia Product Development and Engineering team in 2000 and opened the Technical Center in Guangzhou, China in 2007. KW holds an engineering degree from Sun Yat-Sen University along with several patents.
Chief Technology Officer
As CTO, Chris Turner is responsible for developing and integrating new technology into next-generation products and systems. He has over 20 years of multi-disciplined battery industry experience including battery technology development and strategic development of rechargeable power systems from companies such as Sony Ericsson, AER Energy Resources and SAFT Aerospace Batteries (formerly Gates Aerospace Batteries). Mr. Turner holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of South Carolina and holds several patents related to battery technology.
Vice President, Technical Center Americas
As the VP of Technical Center Americas, Ilyas oversees Product Development, Application and Project Engineering teams who are responsible for the design of highly complex batteries, chargers and power supplies. He is a skilled engineer with over 15 years of electronics experience including battery development and power modules from companies such as Baxter and Motorola and has 4 patents. Ilyas holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.
Vice President, Global Supply Chain Operations
As Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations, Michelle leads all global supply chain strategies, policies and processes for the organization. She brings over 20 years of supply chain, materials operations, demand planning and program management leadership experience to Inventus Power from companies such as Plexus and Flextronics. Michelle holds two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Management and Finance from Baylor University.
Director, Executive and Corporate Communications
Erin Denney-Thompson brings over 12 years of business administration and communications experience to the Inventus Power team. As Director of Executive and Corporate Communications, she leads the Marketing team in a variety of internal and external communications initiatives that align with the company’s overall strategic plan. In addition, she oversees the management of the Office of the President & CEO and serves as administrative liaison to the Board of Directors. Erin holds a Master of Science degree in Communication from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University.
