As Chief Financial Officer, Jun Cai oversees the strategic direction and operational management of Inventus Power’s global finance, accounting, and IT functions.
With over two decades of finance leadership across private-equity-backed manufacturers and Fortune 500 enterprises, Jun is a value-creation and exit specialist with experience spanning North America, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia. She has guided businesses through full PE ownership cycles — including a company sale, recapitalizations returning capital to investors, a doubling of revenue, and multiple acquisitions. Prior to Inventus Power, she served as CFO and Acting COO of The Step2 Company, a PE-backed manufacturing platform, and as CFO of Best Lighting Products, following earlier roles at Stanley Black & Decker and Pratt & Whitney; she is bilingual in English and Mandarin.
Jun holds a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University, a Master of Accounting and Financial Analysis from DeVry University, and a Master of English Literature from Nankai University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in International Relations from the University of International Relations in Beijing, China.
