Celebrating National Military Appreciation Month
National Military Appreciation Month (NMAM) is observed each May in the United States to honor and recognize the service and sacrifices of current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Established by Congress in 1999, NMAM encourages Americans to unite in gratitude and remembrance of military personnel and their families.
Throughout the month, several significant observances highlight the contributions of service members:

- Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) (May 4-10, 2025)
- Victory in Europe (V-E) Day (May 8)
- Military Spouse Appreciation Day (May 9, 2025)
- Armed Forces Day (May 17, 2025)

These observances provide opportunities for communities to express appreciation, participate in commemorative events, and educate others about the importance of military service. One of our most significant contributions to military technology is the Conformal Wearable Battery (CWB). The CWB provides a centralized power source for multiple devices, enhancing mission effectiveness by reducing the weight burden and increasing operational efficiency.
