Tom Nguyen
Vice President, Business Development, Large Battery Systems
As Vice President of Business Development, Tom Nguyen manages the business development, product strategy, and marketing for the large and advanced battery systems at Inventus Power. Tom joined the company in 2004 and has held various positions in program management and account management for the OEM commercial markets during his tenure. He plays a key role in the architecture, market assessment, and growth strategy of our next generation product portfolio.
Tom has over 17 years experience in both battery cell and pack development. He also holds several design patents at Inventus Power. Prior to rejoining Inventus Power in 2018, Tom spent 3 years at Samsung SDI in sales supporting the motive power markets.
Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois (Chicago).
