At Inventus Power, our goal is to provide you with safe, reliable and high-performance battery solutions. Our testing certification process gives you the assurance you need to go to market.

Launch with confidence: How Inventus Power ensures battery quality and safety

When your product hits the market, the performance and safety of its battery system should be the last thing on your mind. With Inventus Power, you can launch with the confidence that we thoroughly test and evaluate your battery system to the highest standards.

We manage the entire testing and certification process in-house, ensuring your system performs as expected in real-world conditions.

In-house battery testing:
Our proven processes

Our advanced testing facilities allow us to rigorously evaluate battery performance, safety, and reliability under various conditions. The result is a faster time to market, superior quality control and valuable product insights to quickly identify and address potential issues.

We assess key characteristics to ensure optimal cell performance and longevity.

  • Initial characteristics (internal resistance, rated capacity)
  • OCV table test
  • Storage test
  • Temperature characteristics test
  • Thermal shock test
  • Discharge rate characteristics test
  • Cycle Life Test

Because safety is paramount to the end user, our extensive tests are designed for vetting the safety and durability of each cell and battery pack.

  • Overcharge & abusive charging tests
  • High-rate charge test
  • Short circuit & overload tests
  • Overdischarge & forced discharge tests
  • Temperature & imbalanced charging tests
  • Dielectric voltage withstand test
  • Grounding continuity test
  • Vibration, shock and impact tests
  • Drop, crush and nail tests
  • Hot oven & label permanence tests
  • Mold stress relief & handle loading tests

We simulate extreme environmental conditions to verify performance across a range of real-world scenarios.

  • High/low temp storage tests
  • Temperature shock test
  • Humidity storage & operating humidity tests
  • Operating temperature range test
  • Component thermal tests (Low, medium, high)
  • Altitude simulation test
  • IPXY & immersion tests

We ensure that your battery system’s packaging is as robust as the battery itself.

  • Package drop test
  • ISTA 1A/2A testing
  • Package vibration & crush tests (e.g., 3-meter stacking test)

In-house agency certification: Faster time to market

What’s unique to working with Inventus Power is we handle certifications on-site, ensuring your battery system meets all regulatory and safety standards without the added time and expense of vetting and onboarding third-party vendors.

Enjoy streamlined certification processes, quicker product insights and faster market entry.
